Covid-19 Update: Good news as 4 Recovers, NCDC traces 6700 contacts

According to the latest update on the coronavirus in Nigeria via NTA News, the Lagos state government has announced the recovery and discharge of 3 female and 1 male patient. According to NTA,they were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba Lagos State,after testing negative to the virus twice. This brings the total number of Recoveries in Nigeria to 24.
Still from the report,The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced its tracing of 6700 people who are believed to have contacts with the initial patients of the coronavirus in Nigeria.
At the Presidential Taskforce briefing on COVID-19 in the country, on Friday in Abuja,the Director General of the NCDC,Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu,made the briefing and also stated that 71 percent of the contacts has been followed up as of Thursday.
He also added that people were “graduate’ out of contact-tracing after 14 days, if they showed no symptoms of the virus.
